Circa 1905. This is a fantastic cast-iron coin-operated perfume dispenser made by Continental Novelty Co., Buffalo, New York. Once a penny is dropped in the top slot, the horns are manually pulled down and perfume is dispensed from the bull's tongue. Most of these pieces have heavy paint loss and wear. This example has almost all of its original paint with only a tiny touch up on the top-right head and ear which are matched perfectly in color. The unit has been tested and is in working order. The horns still have a strong recoil. This is a very nice example and would sit well in any advertising or western collection.
