Absolutely stellar example of the compact M16A2 machine gun by Colt with telescoping buttstock, forward assist and three shot burst selector. Typical Colt logo and address on left side of receiver. Flip-up peep sight with early style windage adjustment requiring a cartridge point or tool. No magazine present. Receiver serial number is the only visible serial number. Barrel marked with typical "C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7". CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is mint, unfired with moisture absorbent paper tube in bore and black plastic muzzle cover. Mechanics are crisp. A super example of current compact firing platform used by the US Armed Forces worldwide. A great opportunity for the collector/investor.
