Circa 1935. Label on front of boat says "King Features Syndicate The Hoge Mfg. Co. New York, New York". Toy depicts Popeye with original pipe sitting in back of boat, steering speedboat. Looks to be original pipe and rudder. Made of mostly pressed steel. Very difficult to find. CONDITION: Clockwork working. Some slight paint touch-up on figure and hull, some of it could be factory. Few examples known and this has to be one of the finer condition ones. From the Jeff Landes Collection.
