This is a very rare musical upright slot machine manufactured by The Victor Novelty Works in 1906. While Caille and Mills were dominating the slot market in the early 20th century, other companies like The Victor Novelty Works built very attractive and successful slots, like this Musical Victor with its brightly colored glue chip front glass, highly decorative hand carvings, ornate nickel castings and beautifully sounding musical accompaniment. This example of a rare slot machine is in all original condition. From the gambling wheel and front glass, to castings, original Victor decals, back door, locks, keys, and music box this Victor has to be one of the best known examples today. A word on the music box, unlike many musical slots available today that are a marriage of slot machine and music box, "The Victor" was produced with music and upon close examination its easy to see that this music box has been with this slot machine for its entire life. A perfect addition to any collection where originality and rarity are the cornerstones of the collector. Plays, pays, and has keys.
