Beautiful Symphonian musical savings bank in near mint condition. Excerpt from a 1898 Symphonian catalog: "The construction of this instrument is made in such a way as to set the movement into action and start the music by dropping a coin of any weight or size into the slot on the top of the case. The saving of any coins will reward the child by hearing a piece of music after the insertion of a coin. With a "smart" solid case in walnut with brass decoration and 7 11/16" discs with a 41 teeth comb." The condition is excellent, with original marquee, coin slot and crank. No key to the bottom door, which is currently open.
