Shoe lump barrels with brass bead on post front sight with blade in front on raised island with stippled ramp. Simple notch rear on quarter rib with machine matting. Added scope bases spliced into quarter rib, with rear mount cutting through Gaucher information. Sling swivel on underside of rib. Barrels with French St. Etienne smokeless proofs. Barrel flats with St. Etienne smokeless proof, caliber designation and "10-H". Underside of right barrel with serial number. Beavertail forend in checkered point pattern with central diamond left vacant, Anson release, and marked in wood "1492". Scalloped boxlock action sparsely engraved with scrolls. Bottom of receiver with wriggle line work around borders, trigger plate, and trigger guard. Pistol grip stock with wrist checkered in point pattern. Fluted cheekpiece that flows into wrist. Terminates in a black line spacer with Pachmayr Presentation model basketweave rubber recoil pad with sling swivel near toe. Mounted with a Kahles 2.5x20 fixed power scope with duplex reticle. CONDITION: Very good as partly reconditioned. Barrels retain most of a good reblacking with some scattered handling marks. Receiver is excellent with some light marks from field use. Wood is excellent with a few minor bumps and bruises, likely from field use. Action works appropriately when operated by hand, bores are excellent, bright and shiny, with strong well defined rifling. Glass is excellent, clear. A nice double rifle in a great caliber. EW
