A fantastic cast-iron cigar cutter with a match dispenser advertising the E-B Banner handmade cigar, by the the Banner Cigar Manufacturing Co. in Detroit, Michigan. By depressing the forward level to nip your cigar, the internal mechanism pushes a match through the slot in the faceplate. If you use non-safety matches, when you remove the match it would light. The cigar cutter is in original patina, showing faint signs of copper flashing to the base and the sides. Areas of finish loss to the faceplate, but retaining most of its original nickel plating. A great original cigar cutter in wonderful aged patina.
