Visually very similar to the Webley Tempest air pistol, with the exception of the cocking mechanism being at the front of the pistol rather than the rear. Notch rear, protected blade front sights. Walnut grip scales. Cogswell and Harrison legends double stamped: "CERTUS" COGSWELL & HARRISON LTD LONDON", "TAPPED FOR 14504", and "* 9i" Accompanied by a canvas case with Cogswell & Harrison paper label in lid and accessories comprising an oiler bottle, screwdriver with darkwood handle, small tin cleaning kit, box of Beatall waisted .22 pellets, and a threaded rod for cleaning. CONDITION: Good, most of the original blue finish has flaked away leaving gun a smooth even brown. Some flashes of original bluing visible in protected areas. Grips are very good with some scars from handling and use. Case is good, complete, with some roughness at edges and age discoloration; left apron of lid is loose. Screwdriver with areas of darkness of metal, cleaning tin with some flaking to paint; other accessories commensurate. Attributed to the Dr. Ingvar Alm air gun collection. EW
