High condition matching specimen of the Walther manufactured MPL machine gun. Includes three 32 round magazines, and original green canvas carrying case. Marked with Walther banner logo on left side of lower receiver and typical German ambidextrous selector markings of, “S”, “D” and “E” (Safe, Full, and Semi-Auto to us here in America), this machine gun has a folding steel shoulder loop covered in hard gray enamel paint, hard brown composite grips. The “L” in MPL indicates “Lang” or “Long” in German, and is their designation for the longer-barreled model. German “65” proofmark on left side of receiver. CONDITION: Overall appearance is extremely fine original dull gray finish with some light handling marks. Mechanics are crisp. Bore is near excellent shiny and bright. Bolt face extremely fine. This is a select fire machine gun. A very well made, good running, and popular tactical and recreational machine guns.
