Top of barrel is marked with a crown over "SPANDAU", crown over "F.W." stamp as a proof for Kaiser Wilhelm I on the left, and Spandau proofs on the right side. Regimental marking " G.R.S. 2. 155". on buttplate. Receiver, bolt, trigger, buttplate, and magazine cap & stacking rod are in the white. Spandau proofs on right side of buttstock and the wrist. Matching numbers include the receiver, barrel, bolt, safety, extractor, cutoff spring, rear sight, front sight, trigger guard, buttplate, barrel bands, and magazine cap & stacking rod. CONDITION: Metal components retain bountiful amounts of arsenal applied blue finish, showing minimal wear and handling marks. Barrel bands show the most wear, with worn areas showing through to a brown patina. Barrel and magazine cap show concentrated areas of corrosion. Markings are crisp and easily legible.
