Beautiful double rifle with stippled top rib that have single folding leaf rear sight and dovetail blade front sight. Front sight with ramp. The slim splinter forend is checkered in point pattern with diamond at center and has an engraved push button release as well as rose and scroll engraved iron. The case hardened boxlock action is finely engraved in rose and scroll pattern in about 90% coverage. Made with double triggers, auto ejectors, and non-auto safety. Top tang is also nicely scroll engraved with gold "S" in front of safety. Top lever with high polish blue and scroll engraved. The nicely fiddleback figured buttstock with tear drop behind action is checkered in a four point pattern through the wrist, has a sling swivel near the toe and terminates with a thin red "Olde English" brand pad. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrels retain about 95% original blue which is beginning to tone a beautiful plum color. Forend is excellent and retains most of an older professionally restored finish. Action retains about 85% beautiful original case color, engraving is crisp. Trigger guard and top lever retain about 80% of their original blue, quite strong on bow and lever, beginning to tone at tang. Buttstock is sound and retains nearly all of a professionally restored finish, checkering is crisp and only a few minor impressions noted. Bores are bright and shiny, mechanics are crisp.
