This Blaser exhibits all of the best features of the high end double rifle line. Made with mono-bloc barrels that have ramp mid and front rib. Tops of barrels with caliber marking and scroll engraved at breech ends, collared muzzle. Made with 1/2 bottom rib to reduce weight and provide balance. Gun has semi-beavertail forend with ebony tip and checkered in point pattern with engraved Deeley release. Made with Blaser's false breech face so this gun can be used with other sets of barrels in other calibers. Made with gold plated double triggers, extractors, and non-auto safety. French grey action is near full coverage engraved with deep relief elephant on left, cape buffalo on right, rhinoceros on trigger plate all surrounded by well executed scroll in near full coverage. Top lever inlaid in gold "1 OF 10" in this rare series. There is also a tiger on the trigger guard bow and a lion engraved on the steel grip cap. Buttstock checkered in point pattern through the wrist is of exhibition quality streaky fiddleback walnut with palm swell on right side and terminates with a Universal brand black pad. Left side of stock with finely cut cheek piece. CONDITION: Extremely fine and near mint. Gun retains nearly all original finish to both wood and metal surfaces with some minor handling marks in the wood, most notably a minor mark or two on the butt towards the pad. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are crisp. These guns originally listed at over $22,000 and are unobtainable today. This is a superb high quality rifle that is extremely versatile! JSL
