German WWII Polizei M40 double decal combat helmet marked "Q64" for the maker "Quist", in a shell size of 64, with a lot number of "371". Shell retains 85-90% of its original rough gray-green paint, with patina and some freckling over most of its surface. Interior retains approximately 95% of its untouched rough gray-green finish. Both the party and police decal are in 80-85% condition, with the same patina and freckling the shell exhibits, and with some traces of the lacquer present. Original zinc liner band is present and is untouched. Pigskin leather is intact, untouched, and in a dark red brown color, a size stamp of "57", with light wear but is dry. Drawstring is missing. Original chinstrap with steel fittings is present, with moderate wear, and is very dry and cracked. A nice untouched combat police helmet. CONDITION: Overall very good+. WZ
