This M16A2 lower has been fitted with a lakeside LM-7 belt fed upper conversion unit for .22 LR. The .22 conversion unit includes one cloth belt and 28 of the plastic disintegrating links as well as a Lakeside Machine belt box. The Colt M16A2 lower has standard markings with Rampant Colt logo on left side of magazine well with Colt’s address above trigger. Selector is safe, semi, and burst. Two spare .223 uppers (16" and 21") are included one of which has bolt and charging handle assembly. Both spare uppers have 1/7 twist and near excellent bright bores. Both have round hand-guards. Original Colt M-16 instruction manuals also included. CONDITION: Overall finish and appearance is extremely fine to near excellent. Over 98% original finish on all firearms parts. There is a slight blemish to finish where charging handle touches receiver as well as evidence that the gun has been fired but otherwise the condition is simply outstanding. Action moves smoothly when operated by hand. Bore is extremely fine, shiny and bright. Bolt face is also extremely fine. What a great package for the person who wants a .22 LR machine gun. CORRECTION: Despite having a burst selector, this is a fully automatic machine gun.
