Beautifully marked “STEN MK II LONG BRANCH 1944” on bottom of magazine housing with typical Chinese markings on top of housing. This Sten MK II machine gun has the registration number from York Arm Company on the tube of the receiver just above the trigger housing with matching numbers on both top and bottom of magazine housing. This gun comes with three original 32 round magazines, as well as the original shipping box from York Arm Company. The Sten machine gun is a very simple yet highly effective and fun to shoot machine gun made of mostly stamped parts. It was far less costly at $10.00 U.S. in 1942 and quicker to produce than any of the previous sub-machine guns the British had fielded, and were produced in great numbers for World War II. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent dull gray refinish upon remanufacture with original dull blue finish on two of the magazines. Mechanics are crisp. Bore is very good with shiny lands and with some frosting in the grooves. Bolt face is fine. This is a select fire machine gun. Consignor states he has never fired this gun since he received it as newly remanufactured from York Arms Company. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4. JWK 2020-05-073
