German WWII Polizei M40 double decal combat helmet marked "SE64" for the maker "Sachsische Emailler", in a shell size of 64, with a lot number of "8204". Shell retains 95+% of its original rough gray-green paint, with some tiny paint freckles. Interior retains approximately 95% of its untouched rough gray-green finish. The party decal is 97+% with some fine scratches, and police decal rates 95+% with a scratch across the top. Both have a nice coat of era applied lacquer, which is easily visible with a blacklight. Original zinc liner band is present and untouched. Light tan leather liner is intact with the size stamp of "57", with some light fraying to the front edge. Drawstring is present. Original chinstrap with steel fittings is present, with light wear. An extremely nice untouched combat police helmet. CONDITION: Overall near mint. WZ
