Lot contains: (A) German WWII Heer M42 single decal helmet marked "ET64" for the maker of "Eisenhuttenwerke Thale", in a shell size of 64, with a lot number of "2388". Shell retains 35-40% of its original rough gray-green paint with freckling and light pitting throughout. Interior retains approximately 30% of its untouched smooth gray-green finish, with freckling and light pitting throughout, including the entire crown. Heer decal is in 30-35% condition, and has been intentionally scratched and damaged. Chicken wire covering has been postwar applied. Original zinc liner band is present and appears to be untouched. Liner is complete, dry, in a dark red brown color, with light damage. Only the two ends of the chinstrap remain. CONDITION: Overall good. (B) German WWII Heer M35 single decal helmet marked "Q64" for the maker of "Quist", in a shell size of 64, with a lot number of "783". Shell retains 60-65% of its original rough gray-green paint with light freckling throughout. Interior retains approximately 60% of its untouched rough gray-green finish, with freckling. Heer decal is in 5% condition and has been intentionally scratched off and damaged. Chicken wire has been postwar applied. Original aluminum liner band is present and is untouched. Liner is complete, untouched, in a medium to dark brown color, and dry with light damage. Original drawstring is present. Original chinstrap with aluminum fittings is present, dark, dry, lightly damaged, and is maker marked and dated "1937". CONDITION: Overall very good. WZ
