German WWII M40 Heer single decal helmet marked "ET64" (the "E" is backwards) for the maker "Eisenhuttenwerke Thale", in a shell size of 64, with a lot number of "355". Shell retains 75-80% of its original smooth gray-green paint. Interior retains approximately 95% of its untouched smooth gray-green finish, with dust. Heer decal is in 70-75% condition with the required era coat of lacquer, which shows up nicely with a blacklight. Original zinc liner band is present and appears to be untouched. Liner is intact, untouched, in a medium to dark color, and with some medium fraying to the leather all the way around its circumference. Original drawstring is present. Original chinstrap with freckled gray painted steel fittings is present, with some light wear, and a maker marked and dated "1941". A nice untouched and complete M40 combat helmet. CONDITION: Overall very good+. WZ

Item Dimensions: 11" x 9" x 6".
