German WWII early Heer M35 double decal helmet marked "SE64" for the maker "Sashsische Emailler", in a shell size of 64, with a lot number of "455". Shell retains 75-80% of its original smooth apple green paint, with patina and natural wear. Interior retains approximately 95% of its smooth apple green finish. The Heer decal is approximately 85% with natural wear, and the national colors decal is also 85% with natural wear, especially on its lower age. Era applied lacquer present on the undamaged parts, easily visible with a blacklight. Original aluminum liner band is present and is untouched. Early medium brown leather is intact, untouched, with some white patina and fraying on the edges. Drawstring is present Original chinstrap with a steel buckle and aluminum rivets is present with moderate damage and wear, and an area which has been spliced. An uncommon desirable helmet. CONDITION: Overall very good+ to excellent. WZ
