German WWII Luftwaffe M35 double decal helmet marked "SE64" for the maker "Sashsische Emailler", in a shell size of 64, with a lot number of "3777". Shell retains 85-90% of its original smooth blue-gray paint, with natural wear. Interior retains 95+% of its untouched smooth blue-gray finish. The Luftwaffe decal is approximately 85% with light damage and natural wear, and the national color decal is also 85% with natural wear; both with a nice coat of lacquer present on the undamaged parts, easily visible with a blacklight. Original aluminum liner band is present and is untouched. Red brown leather liner is intact, untouched, with some darkening and fraying on the rim. Size stamp of "56" is present, as well as a name. Drawstring is present, and a later original chinstrap with steel fittings, and maker marked and dated "1941", exhibits light wear. CONDITION: Overall very excellent+. WZ
