Springfield M1 Garand semi automatic rifle. Made November 1942, with a modern Criterion barrel dated "09-11". Other parts look to be all USGI Springfield production, with the exception being the stock, which is post war, no marks. Military parkerized finish has been redone with a modern parkerized finish on most of the metal parts. Unfinished hardwood stock set with an original metal butt plate. Includes reproduction canvas sling. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its finish with mild wear and handling marks. Stock set is near excellent with a few minor handling marks. Shiny bore with crisp rifling. Throat reads as "1", muzzle reads as a "0". Mechanically fine. JWA
