1891 vintage Model 1890 Winchester slide action rifle serial number 2567. Featuring a scarce and most desirable case hardened solid frame. 24" octagon barrel chambered in .22 Short. Plain, straight grain walnut stock and early style ribbed forearm. Rifle style crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent overall with 93-95% original blue on barrel, magazine tube turning to brown patina. Frame has good traces of case color, however a silver/grey patina overall. Bore is very fine, with modest abrasion. Action is tight. Wood is excellent showing modest wear. Overall a very clean, and desirable Model 1890 with case colored frame. -MKS-
