Lot consists of: (A) Remington Model 11 semi-automatic shotgun. Manufactured in 1939. Round steel barrel with a full rib and bead front sight Blued steel frame with a small engraving of a duck on the left hand side and a pheasant on the right. Wood is original with nice checkering on the forearm and wrist of the butt stock. The butt sock has been shortened and a recoil pad has been added. A finger rest has been added to the bottom of the wrist. Full choke bored. Accepts 2 - 3/4" shells. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its original finish with mild wear and patina. Stock is good overall with mild wear and handling marks. There is a hairline crack on the bottom of the forearm. Bore is shiny. Mechanically excellent. (B) Remington Model 11 semi-automatic shotgun. Made in early 1941. Fully round steel barrel with standard front bead sight. Factory blued finish with a small engraving of a duck on the left hand side of the frame and a pheasant on the right. Original hard wood stock and hard plastic buttplate. Full choke bore. Accepts 2 - 3/4" shells. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with light wear on the edges. Stock is good overall with light scratches and handling marks. Bore is shiny. Mechanically excellent. JWA
