Lot consits of: (A) Springfield Armory M1 Garand semi-automatic rifle with sling. Made in 1952 with a Springfield Armory production, Department of Defense marked "66" dated barrel. Import marked "EXCEL/GARDNER,M.A." on the left side of the barrel. Throat erosion gauges at two, muzzle gauges at four. Springfield marked operating rod, trigger group, bolt gas plug. Hammer is Winchester production. Most of the metal parts retain their military parkerized finish. Post war oil finished hardwood stock is not marked. Comes with an un marked USGI web sling. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with minor handling marks and scratches. stock is very good with light handling marks and scratches. Sharp rifling in the bore. Mechanically fine. (B) Chinese Polytech M-14S semi automatic rifle with scope, bipod and 11 magazines. Made in China by Polytech and imported into the United States for commercial sale. No bayonet lug and no cuts on the flash hider, meaning early 1990s importation, to comply with the 1989 import ban. Standard round steel barrel with a parkerized finish. All metal parts are finished with a heavy park finish. Oiled hardwood stock with a fiber glass hand guard and flip up butt plate. Includes attached Osprey International 10-40x50 illuminated scope on an Armscor USA scope mount. M14E2 style bipod is marked "BIPOD RIFLE M2" and has a parkerized finish. Generic web sling and reproduction leather cheek rest are also attached to the rifle. Also included is an East German AK-47 magazine and 11 total magazines. Magazines include the following: One "BRW" marked USGI 20 round magazine, two American made 20 round magazines, four Korean production 20 round magazines, two Korean 10 round magazines and two Korean five round magazines. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with mild wear and handling marks. Stock is very good with light handling marks. Crisp rifling in the bore. Mechanically fine. Accessories and magazines are all in excellent condition. Optic is clear and in excellent condition. JWA
