A Best Boxlock Ejector rifle, circa 2000 with 24 - 3/8" barrels with a spear point quarter rib with one standing and two folding express sights. The front sight is ramped with a brass bladed sight. The spear point rib is fitted with a quick detachable swing swivel mount, engraved scope rings and is fitted with a Schmidt & Bender 1.25-4x20 scope. The European walnut stock has a length of pull of 15 - 1/4" and a finely checkered pistol grip with case hardened strap off guard and engraved case colored grip cap with trap door, cheekpiece, gold shield and recoil pad. Splinter forend with Anson style push button release. The scalloped case colored boxlock action has a third fastener, disk set strikers, double triggers, auto safe and is engraved with Acanthus scroll. This big game rifle also comes with an oak and leather case. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrels retain 98% black with slight storage or handling marks. Stock and forend with some slight handling marks. Case with some storage and handling marks. Excellent rifle overall. CP
