Luftwaffe Flieger Leuchtpistole L maker marked "fzs" for "Kriegoff", the renown German firearms maker located in Ulm. Dated "1944" with the Luftwaffe contract number of "L124485", serial number of "6902" with a Luftwaffe proof eagle and a "4" in a circle on the top of each barrel. Black finished aluminum retains 90-95% of its original finish, with the steel components presenting a nice patinaed phosphate finish. Brown Bakelite grips appear undamaged, and bore is near mint. Lower right barrel front is lightly crushed (perhaps 1/8") from having been dropped with muzzle outer edge wear. Flare gun functions properly.
