Colt Deluxe Medium frame "Lightning" slide action, tube-fed rifle made in 1887. Blued octagon barrel in rare 20" length. Barrel has blade front sight and adjustable rear, with Colt address and patents in front of rear sight, and caliber marking "32 Cal" on left barrel flat. Blued frame with visible Rampant Colt on left side. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with steel crescent butt. Comes with German silver oval initial plaque near toe. Gun has the initials and partial name "F. Mac. S." stamped near butt on both sides. Walnut deluxe checkered forearm. CONDITION: Poor overall condition with metal surfaces turning a brown patina. Magazine tube has some small dents on left side. Wood has traces of varnish with heavy usage marks and checkering worn flat. Small chips worn out around tang. Dark bore with visible rifling and some pitting. Mechanics are good. Would make an excellent restoration project. DLM
