This is a very difficult gum machine to find, manufactured by the A. M. Company, called the "Scoopy". Upon depositing a coin, the baker in the window will turn and scoop a gumball out of the oven and deposit it in the basket to be retrieved by the buyer. A very desirable machine, which appears to be in an older repaint, quite possibly done 40 or 50 years ago. The character shows an African-American baker which is not likely to be original to the machine. The interior play field of yellow has also been repainted.
