Harrington and Richardson Reising Machine gun with 13-3/4" barrel with compensator and 14 cooling slots. A lustrous finish 20 round magazine included. These Reising machine guns were fielded in limited numbers to the Marine corps during World War II when there were not sufficient Thompson machine guns available to meet service needs. Many police departments brought these into their inventories both during and after World War II, especially as the World War II guns became surplus. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent, smooth, grey-blue original finish with some very slight handling marks to the wood stock. Mechanics are crisp. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face extremely fine. This is a select-fire machine gun. A particularly nice specimen for the World War II military machine gun collector or entry-level machine gun enthusiast. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS CURIO & RELIC ELIGIBLE. JWK 2020-11-029
