The Birsfield ia a very early and ornate cast-iron stamp vending machine made in Lacrosse Wis.in 1915. Its method of vending was in capsules and that made it quite unique. It was designed to vend 1¢ and 2¢ stamps at full value or at a 25% profit sharing. This example has been completely restored in copper flash, and is a beautiful example of a very unique stamp vending machine. No key.
