This is a great example of the Advance Venus theater seat vending machine. These machines were located on the back of theater seats where the patrons could purchase a snack during the movie or show. The machine held 16 pieces of chocolate or 20 pieces of gum. This example is a fine original, with complete front label, original paint showing use and wear, and a working Advance #4 mechanism. Reference: "Silent Salesman Too" by Bill Enes, page 11.
