This is a very rare stamp vending machine. Made by the Schermack Products corp for the Sanitary Postage Corp. of New York City. It is a full 2' tall cast-iron machine with a rotary coin escalator and crank handle. In original gold paint with original front instruction card. Highly detailed base and crown molding make this early vending machine a standout in any collection. No key. Reference: "Silent Salesman Too" by Bill Enes, page 271.
