This is a very early envelope and stamp machine with a patent date of Jan. 10, 1893. The machine dispensed a stamped envelope with a 2¢ stamp and gave the patron 2¢ in change. Since there is no way for the machine to give change, the 2¢ must have been in the envelope. This example has great front graphics, graphics on the side where the coin is deposited, instructions on how to load the machine on the inside of the back door, and a great oak cabinet with a dark rich patina. A very early wooden machine and in impeccable condition for its age. With key.
Condition: (Very Good - Excellent).
Item Dimensions: 15" x 11" x 23 - 3/4".
