M-1 Carbine made by Underwood in Hartford, Connecticut. between July 1943 and March 1944. Underwood marked barrel dated "1-44". All correct Underwood manufactured internal parts. "EU" marked front sight and late style adjustable rear sight. Walnut unmarked stock cut for M-2 switch. Walnut four rivet top wood. Late style bayonet sling band, flip safety and clip release. Comes with 15 round dented bottom clip marked "BW". CONDITION: 50% original arsenal finish. Non-import gun. Aftermarket or foreign arsenal replacement stock cut for M-2 with crack behind tang and in front of clip. Good bore with a ME of 2 and good mechanics. DLM
