M-1 Carbine made by Underwood Hartford, Connecticut between July 1943 and March 1944. Underwood marked barrel dated "1-44" with unmarked front sight and late style rear adjustable sight. "U" marked flat bolt. Unmarked stamped trigger guard with all Underwood parts. Underwood slide. Late style bayonet front sling swivel, flip safety and magazine release. Walnut low wood stock marked "SA" on inside rail and cut for M-2 switch. Walnut four rivet top wood marked "SA". Comes with 15 round "OI/S'/G' " marked dented bottom clip and CMP certificate. CONDITION: 50% arsenal finish remaining on metal parts. Replacement wood with cleaned appearance. Non-import marked. Good mechanics with good bore (ME of 2). DLM
