M-1 carbine made by Inland Division of General Motors in Dayton, Ohio between May 1942 and December 1943. Inland marked barrel dated "2-43"with "N" marked front sight and late style rear adjustable sight. Correct flat bolt with correct marked internal parts consistent with Inland production. Walnut lowwood oval cut stock marked with "Star and FAT 59" in square on left in front of sling well (mark of Fabrica Armi Terni arsenal in Italy) and cut for M-2 switch. Walnut unmarked four rivet top wood. Non-import marked. Comes with 15 round Underwood marked magazine with smooth bottom. CONDITION: 50% arsenal finish remaining with usage wear. Wood has been cleaned with light coat of added finish. Good bore with ME of 2 and good mechanics. DLM
