M-1 semi-automatic carbine manufactured by National Postal Meter in Rochester, New York between November 1943 and June 1944. IBM marked barrel with "P" stamping. Unmarked front sight with replaced original rear flip style sight. "N" marked trigger group with correct mismatch internal parts. Rifle has probably went through a rebuild with flip safety, bayonet style front sling and late clip release installed. Walnut low wood "SA" marked stock cut for M-2 switch and has Italian Arsenal stamps. Walnut 4 rivet top wood stamped "SA". Comes with "LU" marked 15 round World War II vintage magazine and CMP certificate. CONDITION: 50% arsenal finish remaining on metal parts. Wood has been cleaned and has light coat of added finish. Non-import marked gun. Shootable bore with ME of 2. Good mechanics. DLM
