M-1 Carbine manufactured by Saginaw Gear Division of General Motors in Saginaw, Michigan between May 1943 and May 1944. Undated barrel marked "Saginaw S.G. Division General Motors". "N" marked front sight with correct replacement flip rear sight. Round unmarked bolt with most parts correct but mismatched. Walnut low wood stock cut for M-2 Switch and marked with Italian Arsenal marks. Walnut 4 rivet unmarked top wood. Gun has went through rebuild with flip safety, magazine release, and bayonet style front sling band. Comes with 15 round "AI" marked World War II period magazine and "CMP" certificate. CONDITION: 50% arsenal finish remaining on metal parts. Wood has added finish and some heavy usage marks. Shootable bore with ME of 2. Good mechanics. DLM
