Hooded post front sight, four-position diopter drum rear sight. Left side of magazine well with HK 53 designation, 5.56 caliber marking, serial number, and normal German proofs for Nitro proofing at Ulm in 1988. Right side of magazine well with West German manufacturing legend "HK Chantilly VA" as well as "US ARMAMENT CORP / EPHRATA, PA", who converted gun to an SBR. Trigger pack with XX hammer and 2 position fire control group. Retractable stock. Ventilated forearm. IC date coded magazine for 1982. Spare parts include trigger bow, hammer, hammer strut, trip lever. CONDITION: Very good, retaining much of its black finish and a few minor marks from handling and operation. Some discoloration around US Armament Corp legends from registration. Bore is very good with strong rifling. A very handy little rifle. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS A SHORT BARRELED RIFLE. EW
