Comprised in two parts, with top half being reservoir and lower half with smooth bore (rifled barrel insert), turnkey mechanism. Upper half of cane is loaded with air via accompanying pneumatic loader, then a modified clock key is inserted into square notch in lower half, which actuates the firing button. Very basic notch and blade sights on lower half of gun. Housed in a wooden box wood hook and eye clasps and red lining with bullet mold, air pressure loader, and another threaded tool. CONDITION: Good. Painted in black lacquer with significant chipping throughout. Accessories are very good, and internals such as the rifled barrel insert seem in good working order. Action operates appropriately, bore is very good with some minor evidence of use. Key appears to be a modified trimmed clock winding key. Case is very good with some age related chipping and rubs. A really interesting little device. EW
