Absolutely fantastic Colt M16A2 machine gun still new in the box, unfired. 1/7 marked chrome bore gun with black web sling, chamber and bore brush, and cleaning rod set all still new in their original plastic packaging, and also pull-through cleaning brush for 40mm grenade launcher. Owner’s manual and plastic muzzle cap also included in the original factory cardboard box with packing materials. Typical Colt logo and address on left side of receiver, and on M203 grenade launcher. This lot contains two NFA items: the machine gun and the grenade launcher, which will transfer as a destructive device, and hence two NFA transfer forms will be required. Classic military configuration complete with grenade launcher sights. One Colt 20 round magazine is included. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is mint unfired in box with moisture absorbent paper tube still in bore. Mechanics are crisp. Rifle bore not observed in order to preserve condition. M203 bore is mint. Bolt face mint. Composite furnishings also outstanding. Box is extremely fine. Upon closest possible inspection one may find a handling mark, but this guns condition is just about impossible to upgrade. Perfect for the forward-thinking investor/collector.
