German bolt action stalking rifle. Inter war gun with commercial German proofs (crown/B and crown/U). Octagon barrel with blade front and 2 position U-notch rear sight. Double adjustable set triggers. Light engraving on the receiver, bolt, and trigger guard. Sling swivel on the barrel and stock. Lightly finished wood stock with checkering on the wrist. Plastic checkered butt plate. CONDITION. Metal shows signs of light polishing and cleaning with light wear. Wood has some large gouges on the right side of the butt, with some minor handling marks. Bore is clean overall with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
