Lot consist of: (A) French MAS MLE 1949 semi automatic rifle. Made early 1950s on contract for Syria. Import marked on the barrel. Original spike bayonet is stamped "91". Rifle is completely mismatched, minus the stock which matches the receiver. Includes 1 original 10 round magazine. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Wood is very good, looking to have been lightly sanded. Butt stock is slightly lose. Clean bore with sharp rifling. Magazine is excellent. Mechanically fine. (B) French MAS MLE 1944 semi automatic rifle. Made circa 1946. Import marked on the barrel. Bolt is serial matching to the receiver, bolt carrier is numbered "F5710", dust cover is numbered "5516", stock is numbered "F557". Spike bayonet is numbered "74". Looks to have been arsenal refinished at some point, being reparkerized and wood being sanded. Includes original 10 round magazine. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its reapplied finish. Wood is excellent. Bore is clean with excellent rifling. Mechanically fine. (C) French MAS MLE 1936 bolt action rifle. "K" serial block being made right after the war ended. Import marked on the left side of the receiver. All visible serials are matching. Original bayonet is not numbered, nor is the stock. Metal and wood have been arsenal refinished. Stock lacks cartouches, probably when it was refinished. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its reapplied finish with general wear. Wood is excellent. Bore is shiny with very good rifling left. Mechanically fine. JWA
