Springfield M1 Garand semi automatic rifle. Made 1945 with proper "SA 4 45" dated barrel. "Blue Sky" import marked on the left side of the barrel. Bolt, trigger group and operating rod are all "SA" marked. Stock lacks cartouches and firing proof. Metal has been arsenal refinished with a light parkerization. Oil finished stock and hand guards. Checkered butt plate with trap door and no cleaning kit inside. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its reapplied parkerized finish with light wear and scratches. Wood is good overall with wear, scratches and handling marks. Bore is heavily frosted with fair overall rifling. Throat gauges at 2, muzzle at over 4. Mechanically fine. JWA
