AG-42B semi-automatic rifle manufactured in 1943 by Carl Gustaf and later modified into the B variant during the early to mid 1950s. Left side of the receiver is stamped "19 (Crown over "C") 43/ 1674B", with the right side being electro-penciled CENTURY ARMS INC/ ST. ALBANS VT.". Matching numbers include the receiver, bolt, and buttplate. Bolt is electro-penciled to match. "B" stamp present on rear sight base, bolt carrier cover, and safety assembly. Brass stock disk is present. Rubber case deflector is not present. This rifle is complete with 5 20 round boxes of Lapua 139 grain hollow point boat tail ammunition. CONDITION: Metal components retain the majority of their original blue finish, showing some wear and minor areas of thinning all around. Bottom of magazine has a dent, but does not appear to affect operation. Bore is bright, with well defined rifling throughout. Stock shows some scatter handling and storage marks. A nice range ready example of a Carl Gustaf AG-42B rifle. -MLW-
