Manufactured for Columbia by Fabrique Nationale in the early 1950s, this FN-49 is marked with the Columbian crest on the receiver. Standard sights and 23" barrel chambered for .30-06 with no visible import mark. Outfitted with 20 round BAR magazine and synthetic sling. CONDITION: Very good. Retains vast majority of black finish with some larger areas of loss on barrel, barrel band and receiver, in addition to some high edge wear. Stocks excellent with a few minor impressions. Visible numbers matching. Good bore with strong rifling. Functions appropriately when cycled by hand, excluding bolt hold open due to aftermarket magazine. BAS
