Lot consists of: (A) Browning "Sweet Sixteen" A5 semi auto shotgun, made by FN in Belgium, serial number 2S82508. 27 - 1/2" barrel with ventilated rib, chambered in 16 gauge with full choke and brass bead front sight. Marked "SWEET SIXTEEN" on left side of receiver in script with light floral engraving on both sides. 2 piece checkered walnut stock and forearm with rounded knob and black plastic buttplate marked (vertically written on right side) "BROWNING" / (written horizontally) "FN" / (written vertically) "AUTOMATIC." CONDITION: Outside is excellent with almost all of the original bluing remaining with the exception of minor handling marks throughout. Inside of action and under rib are covered in a sawdust like substance and gun could use a very thorough disassembly and cleaning. Stock and forearm are good, with varnish starting to crack and handling marks throughout. Action works correctly when cycled by hand. Crossbolt safety is loose and could use a replacement detent. Bore is mostly bright and shiny with patches of moderate to heavy abrasion throughout. (B) Browning "Light Twelve" A5 semi auto shotgun, made by FN in Belgium, serial number 3G19062. 27 - 1/2" barrel with ventilated rib, chambered in 12 gauge with modified choke and brass bead front sight. Marked "Light Twelve" on left side of receiver in script with light floral engraving throughout. Two piece checkered walnut stock and forearm with rounded knob and same black plastic buttplate as gun (A) in this lot. CONDITON: Very good with moderate handling marks and pitting throughout. Stock and forearm are very good with handling marks and varnish beginning to crack. Action works correctly when cycled by hand. Bore is bright with modest abrasion. -TN-
