Lot consists of: (A) Browning A5 20 Model semi-automatic shotgun. Made 1959 in Belgium with Belgian proofs on the barrel and frame. Round, steel barrel with checkering to reduce glare. Bead front sight. Blued finish with a gold plated trigger. Typical light scroll engraving on the frame. Refinished wood stocks with checkering on the wrist and forearm. Round pistol grip but with "BROWNING AUTOMATIC" marked plastic butt plate. No added sling studs. Modified choke bore with 2 - 3/4" chamber. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its finish with light general wear and handling marks. Refinished wood with wear and minor handling marks and scratches. There is a crack in the forearm. Buttplate has a few chips out of it. Bore is shiny. Mechanically fine. (B) Browning A5 "Twenty" Model semi-automatic shotgun. Made 1960 in Belgium with Belgian proofs on the barrel and frame. Round, steel barrel with checkering on top to reduce glare. Bead front sight. Reblued finish with a gold plated trigger. Typical light scroll engraving on the frame. Refinished wood stocks with checkering on the wrist and forearm. Round pistol grip but with "BROWNING AUTOMATIC" marked plastic buttplate. No added sling studs. Modified choke bore with 2 - 3/4" chamber. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its reapplied finish with light wear and handling marks. Wood has handling marks and scratches, with repaired cracks on each side of the tang. Forearm has a few hairline cracks. Buttplate has wear. Bore is shiny. Mechanically fine. JWA
