January 1944 manufactured as per serial number. Later non-lockbar rear sight. Milled trigger guard. Small parts with "SA" stamps for Springfield Armory. SA 11-50 dated barrel. Electro-penciled "SA 3-65" for 1965 rebuild. Later gas plug with crosshead. Cut op-rod. Stock with "P" proof at wrist, DOD cartouche and "140" behind rear sling swivel, likely a rack number. Accompanied by CMP hangtag with ME 2, TE 3, SA 11/50 barrel date, and being a service grade rifle. Housed in OD green CMP case with CMP paperwork, COA, and en bloc clip. CONDITION: Very good as rebuilt. Metal retains the vast majority of parkerized finish with some silvering at operational points and handling marks. Stocks are good with some deeper pings scattered amongst normal handling marks. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is very good with some frosting in grooves. Case is fine. EW
