US M1 Garand semi-automatic service rifle made at Springfield Arsenal in 1955. Made in a small serial number block of only 210,000. "SA" marked barrel dated "54" with military front sight and late style rear sight. "SA" marked bolt, cut op-rod, and all "SA" parts marked stamped trigger group. Walnut Department of Defense cartouche stock and "P" in circle proof. Comes with CMP case, paperwork, and end bloc clip. CONDITION: 80% original military finish with handling marks. Wood has illegible cartouches with some usage marks and dings with oil-soaked appearance. Good shootable bore with ME of 1 and TE of 3. Good mechanics. DLM
